In Kamakura, there are not many facilities and places that block sunlight. Treat symptoms such as dizziness, lightheadedness, numbness in the limbs, feeling sick, headaches, nausea, sluggishness, limpness, impaired consciousness, muscle cramps, or body heat.

What to do

  1. Go to a cool place
  2. Evacuate to a cooler place, such as an air-conditioned room or a shaded, well-ventilated area.
  3. Make your body cool down.
  4. Loosen clothing and cool you neck, underarms, and groin area down.
  5. Hydrate yourself.

If your symptoms do not improve, see a doctor in hospital.
If you are unable to hydrate on your own or are unconscious, call an ambulance(#119) immediately.
